Biografía

El mejor interprete de la música regional de más tradición en el norte de México y en Texas, con un estilo muy alegre al tocar el acordeón y su marca registrada, la exclamación “¡Sí Señor!” siempre de acuerdo al sentimiento de la canción. Las canciones que él interpreta adquieren nueva vitalidad, con ese apoyo tan sólido del bajo eléctrico y la batería que forma parte fundamental del estilo de los Gamblers.
Entre su repertorio estan Dos caracoles, El corral de piedra, Dulce adorada, Don Luis el texano, Prenda del alma, Rebelde al destino, Anillo grabado, Dos amores, Amorcito norteño, No me anuncies, Ya no llores, y muchas más que siempre traen recuerdos bonitos y transmiten esa alegria que solo la musica regional de acordeón puede generar.
Con este sencillo homenaje deseo mantener presente el recuerdo de un artista que ha trascendido a través del tiempo y cuyo legado sigue vigente gracias al esfuerzo de su hijo Ricky Naranjo, quien sigue interpretando la música regional en ese estilo que Rubén creó.
